Events held by Amnesty Ipswich in Autumn 2025 ....
The picture shows our Write for Rights display for a week in December in Woodbridge Library where visitors could send cards with messages of hope to human rights defenders in Ecuador and South Africa. We also held card signing sessions with additional cases from Myanmar and Madagascar at Christ Church and the Unitarian Meeting House in Ipswich.

50 years Thanksgiving Service


Amnesty Ipswich held a reception at Paddy and Scott's Cafe at University of Suffolk - Tom Davies @AmnestyUK's Campaign Manager was the speaker - we thank the very many dignitaries for attending including Lynne Mortimer Deputy Mayor who also spoke.

50 years of Ipswich Amnesty Thanksgiving Service Sunday 7th July 2024 Unitarian Meeting House Ipswich.
Ipswich Amnesty has marked its 50th Anniversary with a special thanksgiving service at the Grade 1 listed Unitarian Church where the group was founded in July 1974.
Afterwards Mayor of Ipswich Councillor Elavalakan planted a commemorative rose and plaque.

Amnesty Ipswich Annual Event 2024
D'Ukes the international touring Electric Ukulele Band rocked a sell-out house at Felixstowe's 2 Sisters Art Centre with an exciting benefit for Amnesty Ipswich in October this year - this is the third time we have had the pleasure of presenting D'Ukes.
